07.07.26 | Mango & Coconut Milk (Bath & Body Works)

Once upon a time, I went looking for my favorite soap fragrances during Bath & Body Works' semiannual sale and found... none of them. No matter, I thought. Instead of Peach Blossom, I'd try Spring Peach Crisp.

I brought it home, unscrewed the lid, and took a hopeful sniff. Alas, it was nothing like I imagined, giving more graham cracker crust than sliced peaches. The disappointment.

Back to Bath & Body Works I went, only to discover my store had undergone some pretty significant changes, including fewer longtime favorites and a host of new fragrances. I sampled one after another until I found the kind of light, pretty sweetness I love in Mango & Coconut Milk. The treasure I found wasn't the one I was seeking, but it proved to be a worthy alternative indeed.
