Fun to try at least once, which was probably enough for me.

Leftover movie night treats from my aunt’s visit… Not bad, but I’ll stick with chocolate.

I'm not generally a fan of peanut-forward candy bars, but I'm always up for trying something new. My aunt gave me the perfect two-for-one opportunity to try these decidedly nutty chocolate bars, and I didn't hate them...

Students from different cultures are always introducing us to new goodies. I learned about this snack from my mom and her students. I was a little reluctant to try it, but I was pleasantly surprised. While taro chips aren't quite as satisfying as potato chips, and I'm not usually a fan of lime-flavored chips, these were lighter than most root vegetable chips, and the lime was pleasantly sweet instead of simply sour. I probably wouldn't want a whole bag, but I'd happily snack on a serving.

Y’all, did you know that Dairy Queen sells ice cream cupcakes? I tried one with my sister today, and it was such a nice treat. Full disclosure - it’s not quite like an ice cream cake, but the layers are enjoyable enough.

An impulse aisle find. Just meh.

This summer flavor looked more enticing than it turned out to be. It was a nice departure from the norm, but ultimately fell a bit flat. I think it could have been much better with more graham cracker crust at the bottom and incorporating the peach throughout the cake or icing instead of saving it for the garnish. The icing also seemed lighter than usual, almost as if the peaches were meant to make up the difference.

Ummm... It's a bundt cake. We need all the icing.

This brand of pretzels appeared at Target maybe in the last year or so, and I think they’re a fun departure from the standard chocolate-covered pretzel. The coating is pleasant; the pretzel underneath is pretty average, but after giving it a shot, I find that the addition of pecans is just plain unnecessary. I suppose somebody somewhere might enjoy it…

Good grief! These were definitely more fiery than sweet. The watermelon and mango flavors are delightful. The fiery part, not so much…

Tried a new Kit Kat flavor with my after-school kiddos today. I love trying new things with kids - always a hoot. 😂

Seaweed snacks just got an upgrade. Instant delight - crispy and light, sweet n’ salty n’ spicy - delicious. This will now be a regular part of my snack rotation.

My sister always finds the coolest snacks. I tried this one after school, and a couple of my after-school friends observed. It was fun, different, and a little spicy.

It never occurred to me to freeze grapes, but now that I’ve had these, it feels like the only way to enjoy them. Healthy, delicious, and refreshing, frozen grapes are a perfect summer snack.
